The Equestrian Club is an additional activity for students who want to learn more about the horse and how to take care of it. It is open to kids ages 8 and up.
We meet once a month to learn about a specific horse topic. Past topics have included: Parts of the horse, horse breeds, and equine First-Aid. We try to mix it up with games and other activities to reinforce the lesson and make it fun! Each meeting costs $8 which is added into an Equestrian Club Fund to help pay for materials and special events.
The Equestrian Club is on temporary hiatus for the summer. We will start up again the fall!

Mounted Meeting
Here are some of the many pictures from our mounted games fun day! Everyone did a great job taking turns and helping each other out. There were so many in attendance we will have to divide it up into two days next time so that everybody can ride longer! A special thanks to our photographers Gary Christian and Ray Hoffpauir!!! Thanks so much for taking the great photos!

Here are some pictures from the Equestrian Club Junior meeting on Sunday, September 14th, 2008. It was about "The Parts of the Horse". We also covered a few fun facts about horses teeth! After a little bit of bookwork, we went out into the barn and played "Pin the Parts on the Midnight"!!! (and Chevy too!) Everyone had a great time and I think they learned some interesting things too!

Ashton contemplates the next part. Chevy is labeled!!!

Emma busy labeling. The muzzle?

Discussing. Group photo with Midnight!
